This was a response to a Tumblr post of one of the images from the James Webb Space Telescope, which shows a galaxy with the distinct shape of a question mark. The post was joking that it must be the Doctor. I thought that in the Doctor Who universe, this would definitely be a “hello” to the 80s companions!

Or, how I accidentally bought an autographed copy of Tomb of the Cybermen.

I recently acquired a DVD drive and decided I was a bit frustrated with streaming as a model and would like to own more DVDs. Also I was at the record store in my town, and they'd done me a favor for free, so I thought I ought to spend some money there. So I went to their used DVD section, they had some Classic Who DVDs, and I picked out Tomb of the Cybermen. It was special edition and I thought it would be fun to watch the commentaries. It wasn't specially advertised or anything and it was the same price as the other DVDs.

It was in one of those shiny anti-theft cases, so I couldn't see it particularly well, and when they took it out of the case and I bought it, I just stuck it in my bag. But later when I got out of the shop I had a look at it and:



I wasn't sure, and it was fairly illegible, but it certainly looked like an autograph, and a friend on Discord looked up Frazer Hines' autograph and said it looked the same.
