Aurelia knew she should stay away from the irresistible Unconventional Courtship Generator. But when the naive blogger was swept back into his orbit, she couldn't resist the temptation. Before she knew it, there was fic....

616) The Marriage Clause by Alexx Andria
Sarah Jane Smith is not interested in getting married. The only problem is she can’t keep her hands off gorgeous billionaire the Eighth Doctor, who wants to put a ring on it! So she puts Eight to the test in an X-rated battle of wits ― to persuade her that their nights of passion can turn into something more!

***
"No," said Sarah firmly. "I am not marrying you on this or any other planet."

"But..." The pleading look in the Doctor's blue eyes would have melted her heart, if he weren't being so infuriating at the same time.

"Yes, I know, when you kissed me--completely out of the blue, might I add, since when is that your standard greeting?--I kissed you back. All right, I admit it. You took me by surprise, that's all!"

"I'm sorry," he said. "I just thought it would be nice."

"And it..." Sarah paused and took a deep breath. "It was nice. But that doesn't mean I want to marry you! Why are you suddenly like this?"

"Regeneration," said the Doctor vaguely. "Look, Sarah, I'd really like to marry you. I think it would be fun. Hey, how about this--will you marry me if I can beat you in Trivial Pursuit?"

Sarah burst out laughing. "Nice try! I think not." Then she pursed her lips thoughtfully. "Wait. It might be worth it... I'll marry you if you can beat me in Trivial Pursuit, and not drop any names while doing it."

424) Forgotten Honeymoon - Marie Ferrarella
She'd finally gotten her revenge. Tough loner Leela had been given the perfect opportunity to put her high-and-mighty partner, George Wickham, in his place. The pampered prince had lost his memory and was depending on Leela to fill in the gaps. While Leela's head told her to make George her personal slave, her heart had her questioning her motives. Was the brooding spinster punishing George for her overwhelming attraction...or denying herself a honeymoon to remember?

***
Leela examined Wickham with a skeptical glance. "I thought you were to marry Miss Lydia," she said thoughtfully.

"I told you, I lost my memory," he said. "Now I can think of no woman but you."

"I do not believe you," she declared. "I think you are like many men: you forget what you would not like to remember."

499) Lord Braybrook's Penniless Bride by Elizabeth Rolls
Miss Melanie Bush will do anything to keep from the streets - and the insufferably attractive Lord Spock urgently needs a governess! Headstrong, tawny-haired Mel is so deliciously endearing that Spock quickly forgets how scandalous it would be to yield to this attraction for his penniless governess...

***
"So then," said Mel, "when Glitz took off with the whole cargo and left me in the lurch, I knew I had to find something else to do. And that's when I saw your notice recruiting emergency childcare for a surprise hatching of... what was it? Xanthians? Anyway, I figured I babysat the Doctor all right for however many years--well, okay, he died once, but that wasn't my fault, and anyway he was alright--so I figured I can look after a bunch of actual alien babies. As long as they're not taller than me. Wait, are they taller than me?"

She'd been talking for the entire shuttle trip. Spock would ordinarily expect to be exhausted, driven to intensive meditation to retain his patience. And yet... somehow he found himself wanting to hear the whole context of her bizarre anecdotes. Could this be what humans called... Stockholm syndrome?

And some more fun ones:

194) Eva's Deadline by Linda Hope Lee
A one-year sentence… or life?
Jadzia Dax finally had it all: the Seattle sea-view condo, the little blue sports car and the assistant editorship at the city’s hottest magazine. Everything she’d fought for since the day she walked out on her father and the Bay City Beacon, his beloved small-town newspaper…
With one call from the Eighth Doctor, her father’s protégé, it was all gone. Her father. Her career. Her independence. And, quite possibly, her mind. Because fulfilling her father’s final wishes meant meeting a one-year deadline as Eight’s co-editor at the Beacon. That’s what they call an impossible deadline. Especially when the sparks begin to fly.

I can sort of see Eight/Jadzia working, actually.

118) Living the Charade- Michelle Conder
Falling for the façade… Julian Bashir knows that professional success doesn’t always come easy, and he’s not afraid of hard work. But his flair for business can’t help with his latest problem – finding a fake girlfriend for a weekend away with his boss! Elizabeth Shaw, maverick of the motor racing world, is Julian’s polar opposite. Yet helping buttoned-up Julian let his hair down – and whatever else he wants! – is an irresistible temptation… Especially when Liz gets under his ice-cool demeanour and discovers a man as hot as one of her cars!

There'd definitely be sparks. They might be literal.

And then there was the one that began "Navy SEAL Dodo Chaplet..." (She was having an affair with Sherlock Holmes, I believe.)
